After climbing successfully on three of the highest mountains in world Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse & Mt. Makalu the club Giripremi is now set for a new adventure!!!
The Expedition to another highest mountain is planned in Autumn 2015. And to support that Giripremi has planned Mega Adventure and Trekking Programme in 2015. By participating actively in the trekking programme, they also contribute in the fund raising efforts for Giripremi’s Mountaineering Expeditions. Which ultimately took the Mountaineering in India to greater heights.
Trek to Everest Base Camp
Nowhere in the world is more spectacular than in the Everest region. It is where four of the world's tallest peaks Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Cho Oyu rise above everything else. The Everest Base Camp trek is the grandest walk in the land of the Himalayas. Trekking through the Everest region offers astounding mountain views, and opportunities to get a glimpse into the life of world famous climbers (the Sherpas). The trek goes around Sagarmatha National Park, a world heritage site. This is home to a variety of Himalayan floras and faunas and to get a closer look at the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world. It is an opportunity to embark on an epic journey that Giripremi set off on in 2012 & 2013. Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular treks in the Annapurna region. The trail goes alongside terraced rice paddies, lush rhododendron forests, and high altitude landscapes, with the Annapurna Range in view most of the times. There are few treks that combine so many different landscapes and bring you so close to the base of 7,000 and 8,000 m high peaks. The setting of the Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m is unique and incredibly spectacular, set amidst the mighty peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m). Langtang Valley is the nearest Himalayan Region from Kathmandu valley, few hours drive from Kathmandu will take you to the beautiful Langtang region.
